We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Scheduler to oversee our upcoming project.

Job Description:

Stelic is looking for an experienced Project Scheduler/Planning and Controls Engineer to oversee scheduling, monitoring, and control of a large data center project. This individual will manage comprehensive project schedules and ensure projects stay on track by analyzing progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective measures. They will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed master schedules for assigned construction projects using critical path methodology
  • Create schedules encompassing all project components and phases with clear milestones and critical paths
  • Analyze schedules regularly to identify potential delays or conflicts and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Conduct regular site inspections to validate schedule accuracy against actual progress
  • Calculate and load labor, material, and equipment resources into schedules
  • Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, metrics, and KPIs for management and stakeholders
  • Evaluate impacts of change orders, delays, and contractor recovery plans on project timelines
  • Lead schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, owners, contractors, and other parties
  • Participate in planning sessions like pull planning to integrate scheduling with execution
  • Validate cost estimates and productivity factors in schedule
  • Incorporate delays, time impacts, and change order scheduling effects
  • Proficient with scheduling software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills to interface with all parties
  • Solid grasp of construction practices, phasing, and requirements across project types

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of project controls/scheduler experience on large construction projects like data centers
  • Expertise in construction scheduling principles, critical path method, delay analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of construction means, methods, phases, and documentation
  • Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specs, RFPs and changes for scheduling impacts
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment:

  • Duties performed in an office setting and at construction job sites
  • Role involves periods of sitting/standing and utilizing standard office equipment
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external personnel
