Job Description:

As the Senior Project Controls Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing project controls processes throughout all stages of construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your strategic insights and leadership will be instrumental in driving project success and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project controls procedures and systems to monitor and track project progress, costs, and schedules.
  • Lead a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Establish and maintain project baselines, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze project data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on project performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and forecasts.
  • Implement change management processes to control scope variations and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in project controls management within the construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management and mentoring.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, cost control, and risk management principles.
